I am a firm believer that Murphy IS God. Or at least that God is the one messing things up for us, just for sport.

The shorter velocity stacks came from a K&N kit, in fact, not from a Weber supplier. I don’t have much choice but to use the shorter ones, considering the space I have. Yes, there are some foam filters that will fit over the stacks, but will need to be trimmed to fit now. I do think that my accelerator cable will be very short, considering the proximity of the carburetor to the pedal box.

As for a cold air box, that may be tried some day at the track, who knows?

But, I’m sure that you already knew that.

Regarding the velocity stacks – they work best at a particular RPM and the shorter the stack, the higher that number is. Are you going to pick up enough where you want it to justify the short ones at all?
Are you going to be running any kind of filtration or cold air box/induction?
