The original steel chassis had been separated from the fiberglass, sandblasted and then left outside for at least 12 years, possibly much more. The floorboards were completely missing, but I got a diagram of the chassis from Jon Clifton which helped, but was not all that accurate. I had pieces of the outer sills which showed me the general cross section of the outer structure, which was quite different than what the drawings showed.
The bottom side was worse than the top. This was going to be a big job. This was daunting. You can imagine where the floorboards would have been.
