The chassis was dipped in acid to remove all the rust, and obviously, there was not much left. However, I had enough pieces to do the detective work, and a set of drawings, so a new set of floorboards were fabricated. I had them made as part of the sills; this can be seen in some of the photos of the rebuilding process.
